Road Traffic Offences
Digital devices have made it into our cars and we use them even when we are driving. Using a mobile phone while driving is one of the most common modern day offences. Generally it is considered dangerous to use any kind of device that may affect your concentration while driving.

It is however the case that most people who are prosecuted on using a mobile phone are done so solely on the basis of the witness statement of a police officer.

Speed cameras are another way that the police will find drivers who were speeding or otherwise violating the Highway Code.

If you believe you were accused falsely then you should seek specialist advice from a specialist solicitor. You will also need us to provide with the forensic examination of your device.

What we can do for you:

a Investigate your handset to see if there is evidence of making a call or texting
a Investigate your call records to provide additional proof to your innocence.
a Investigate your handset for proof of taking pictures or performing other tasks.
a Investigate the cameras and other equipment (i.e. Speed radar) used to charge your, in order to see if they were properly maintained and calibrated.

We can also use your satnav device (if it was engaged at the time) to determine your average speed, your path and your driving behavior.

Contact us now, or ask your lawyer to get in touch with us, if you are at risk or receiving points on your driver's license and/or a fine.
