Fraud Investigations
Fraud has certainly changed since the internet came into our lives. However the principles of fraud are and always be the same. What changes are the players, the theater and the appearances.

In the 1980s, the Nigerian Scam was a big thing around Europe and the US, but it was run through regular mail. Today elaborate lotto and sales frauds are using regular mail while Nigerian Scams moved to the internet.

Fraud can range from phishing (where you are tricked to give away sensitive information) to cloning of your credit card, or being tricked to invest on a business or send money to help someone.
Fraud in a business environment is usually more complicated and more sophisticated. Strathclyde Forensics has experience in working with businesses and their solicitors in a wide range of fraud related cases that include:

î Stealing of confidential data
î Financial irregularities and embezzlement
î Industrial espionage
î Intellectual Property theft

Our findings will come as part of a comprehensive report and a presentation, making the case for you.
All our processes are producing forensically sound evidence that will stand any scrutiny in court.
Contact Strathclyde Forensics now and see how we can help you.
