Civil Cases
Civil cases amount for the majority of legal cases in the UK, although only a fraction ever goes to court. Many cases are dropped by the pursuers or are settled out of court at the eleventh hour.

A solicitor needs to be well prepared before reaching any settlement or before getting to court.

In today's litigation environment, where much of the evidence is often in digital form, it is important for lawyers to make sure they discovered all the evidence that is of importance to their case. Not only that, but they need to ensure that every digital document received is an original, it has not been tampered with and that its origin can be verified.

It is important that a solicitor gets expert advice on the discovery of electronic evidence. There may be ways to collect evidence that a solicitor may not have realized is available.

Strathclyde Forensics can provide you with the know how to explore all possible avenues to digital evidence in your cases. We can provide you with a support contract or on a case-by-case basis.             It is imperative for lawyers to do their due diligence and ensure the integrity of the digital evidence in their custody
